Event: X-periment 08

X-periment 08, organized by A*STAR (Agency for Science, Technology and Research) and Singapore Science Centre, is a 3-day science carnival that celebrates the latest R&D works in science and technology with the general public. The carnival allows participants both young and old to catch a glimpse of the research activities carried out by Singapore’s research institutes. It is also an excellent platform for researchers to share their technical know-how with the public audience, especially the youth to captivate their inquiring minds with the wonders of science.

This year’s theme "Fast Forward: The Science of Speed" will see IME presenting two of our major research development: Ring Deformations in Photonic Crystal and 2.5Gbps Burst-mode Transceiver. To learn more about our researcher’s invention, come join us at Marina Square from 15 to 17 August 2008.
