In conjunction with the 5-day research exposure programme organized by A*STAR, 27 students from Sec 3 YRAP had a rewarding and eye-opening experience taking part in the laboratory visit to IME on 17th June 2008.

The students are the newly awarded scholars from the region currently studying in Singapore’s top secondary schools. During the visit, they visited the BE, SPT / MDRA, MMS and ICS labs where they had the opportunity to interact with IME’s researchers and gained valuable insights on IME’s labs and research areas such as wavelengths of light and design of micro chips / wafer.
