The Singapore Science and Engineering Fair (SSEF) is a national
competition organised by the Ministry of Education, A*STAR and Science

students between 15-21 years old who wish to showcase their research
projects in science and engineering.
Held on 5-6 March, the competition saw an overwhelming 372 projects
submitted and resulted in 14 Gold Award winners. Outstanding entries
will represent Singapore in the Intel International Science and
Engineering Fair (ISEF) to be held in May 2008 at Atlanta, USA.
IME researchers Dr Johnny He, Dr R Gopal and Dr Pavel Neuzil were
invited as judges for the SSEF 2008 together with other judges from
local universities, polytechnics as well as research institutes.
Winners of the SSEF are also eligible to participate in the A*STAR
