On 23rd May, a FYP poster presentation was organized for the FYP students attached to IME.
The presentation provided a platform for the 12 final students to share and exchange their research works and to give a final shot at the S$300, S$200 and S$100 cash prize for the best posters and presentation.
Dr Patrick Lo, SPT Lab Director and NanoEP Program Director graced the opening of the event before the key research results were presented to the audience and a panel of 6 judges. A total of 12 posters were presented and the presence of IME’s supervisors gave the students confidence in their presentation. The students successfully gave descriptions of their project and answered all queries directed by the audience.
The panel of judges had a hard time determining the winners before awarding Fanni Lisa from NUS Bioengineering with the best poster and presentation. Tan Jun Wei and Yan Jun, both from NUS Electrical & Computing Engineering bagged the 1st and 2nd runner-up respectively.
