New Opportunity to Learn & Earn!

You are invited to take part and contribute to a joint program between ST Microelectronics and Institute of Microelectronics, Singapore, in the development of MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) sensors. This program is supported by Economic Development Board for training new staff in Research and Development in this emerging technology. This is a good opportunity for engineering professionals who aspire to expand their career in MEMS and sensor area which leverages largely on Semiconductor technologies. After one year R&D training program, you will have opportunity to join ST Microelectronics as full time staff in the MEMS area. During the training period, you will receive a monthly scholarship of S$2000. The program expects to support four such positions which are open immediately.

Candidates who are pursuing their Master degree by research can apply. You will participate in the MEMS R&D program at IME while pursuing their Master degree. During attachment, you will contribute to design, simulations and fabrication of MEMS devices or micro-sensors.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry or Physics
• Interested in MEMS or micro-sensor design & process technology
• Good understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes
• Self motivated & good teamwork
