Students’ Reflections 2010

"I have learnt the value of meticulousness and how the simplicity of a graph belies its background of intensive preparation work. If one step is sloppily done, it affects the rest of the steps and results in us failing to get good results. Embarking on a science career in the future is definitely one of my options."

Wu Wai Choong, Raffles Institution student, participated in A*STAR-MOE Student Attachment Program in 2010

"I have benefitted from this attachment programme in learning more about research and development, how to draw a research poster and interacting with experienced researchers. I have also learnt how to deal with unpredictability in research works. In the future, I am thinking of becoming a Physics lecturer."

Lim En Han, Hwa Chong Institution student, participated in JC Science Award Student Attachment Program in 2010

"The attachment program has greatly benefitted me by enhancing my knowledge about microelectronics. This was a great opportunity to explore my strengths and interests in this field. In due course, I see myself working in the R&D sector, because of the interest that has kindled in me, thanks to this attachment program."

Atin Sachan, Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) student, participated in YRAP Student Attachment Program in 2010
