IME gave a 2-hour lecture to the Micro Sensors and Micro Actuators Class students at the National University of Singapore (NUS) on 21 February. The lecture was about IME’s R&D activities on MEMS, as well as the new roles played by the emerging MEMS technology in the micro sensor area.
In addition, the NUS students were given a tour of IME's facilities on 6 March. This was an eye opener for the students to understand the operations of a world-class clean room. Many of them were impressed with IME's 8-inch fabrication facility for MEMS and CMOS.

The students were brought on a tour of IME’s clean room.
