 The Symposium on Surface Engineering for Industrial Applications 2007 (SEIA 2007), organised by the Singapore Surface Finishing Society, A*STAR and Singapore Polytechnic, was held at Rendezvous Hotel Singapore on 10-12 December.
IME staff Dr. R. Gopalakrishnan is the General Chair of this symposium. IME researchers also delivered technical presentations at the symposium.
This year’s SEIA was held in conjunction with the 3rd International Conference on Surface and Interface Science and Engineering (SISE 2007). The event, which included short courses and exhibition, provided an overview of technology trends, development challenges in methods, materials and applications in surface engineering arena with special emphasis to upcoming technologies for industrial applications. |
