SENSORS AND ACTUATORS MICROSYSTEMS PROGRAMME
1. Programme Director
IME's MEMS program has been one of the earliest of its kind started in this region and has been continuously growing over the last 10 years. With the increasing demand of MEMS technology for new and innovative applications, IME targets to accelerate this program further and add value to the Semiconductor Industry. IME houses an advanced 200 mm Si-CMOS fabrication facility with MEMS specific process technology, advanced packaging capabilities, and analog/mixed IC design. Combining on-chip electronics and advanced MEMS technology, many projects are currently being carried out internally and partnered with the industry and academia. The topics cover in areas of Optical, Inertial, RF, Microfludic, packaging, testing and characterization for applications towards biometrics, medical technology, consumer electronics, display and communication. The R&D programs are driven substantially with commercial applications as the end goal.
To further grow our MEMS program in breadth and depth, IME solicits applications for candidates for the position of the Program Director for its MEMS program. As Program Director, you are expected
- To lead the team of research and development staffs in MEMS program
- To establish and support cross-disciplinary projects with other Laboratories and programmes (e.g., Bioelectronics, Advanced Packaging, Circuit Design)
- To set strategic technology directions and develop technology roadmaps together with industry partners
- To build up a strong intellectual property portfolios in patent and publication
