SENSORS AND ACTUATORS MICROSYSTEMS PROGRAM
Program Director
IME houses an advanced 200 mm Si-CMOS fabrication facility with MEMS specific process technology, advanced packaging capabilities, and analog/mixed IC design. Combining on-chip electronics and advanced MEMS technology, many projects are currently being carried out internally and partnered with the industry and academia. The topics cover in areas of Optical, Inertial, RF, Microfludic, packaging, testing and characterization for applications towards biometrics, medical technology, consumer electronics, display and communication. The R&D programs are driven substantially with commercial applications as the end goal.
To further grow our MEMS program in breadth and depth, IME solicits applications for the position of Director for the Sensors and Actuator Microsystems program. As Program Director, you are expected
- To lead the team of research and development staff
- To establish and support cross-disciplinary projects with other Laboratories and programmes (e.g., Bioelectronics, Advanced Packaging, Circuit Design);
- To set strategic technology directions and develop technology roadmaps together with industry partners;
- To build up a strong intellectual property portfolios in patent and publication;
- To establish high visibility and reputation for the organization;
- To closely work with industry in developing commercial applications of IME's research capabilities
Requirements:
We seek candidates with passion, commitment and strong leadership qualities. He/She should possess a relevant PhD with good record of publications and management experiences. As the position interacts extensively with industry, the scientific community and staff at all levels. He/she should have excellent communication skill. Industry experience is considered as a major advantage.
