CMOS IC Design for bio-medical applications.
The following positions are available:
- RFIC design (RF Transmitter / Receiver) - 2 positions
- Analog / Mixed Signal IC Design (Signal Conditioning) - 1 position
- Digital IC Design (Digital Base-band / DSP) - 1 position
Requirements:
- PhD/Master/Bachelor Degree in Electrical / Electronics engineering
- Good background in RF / Analog-Mixed Signal/ Digital IC Design
- Knowledge of standard IC design flows and tools
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience preferred
- Good aptitude to work in a research environment
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in IC Design
2. HOME 2015 - Senior Research Engineer
You will be responsible for novel radio architectures and RFIC design towards an integrated 60GHz UWB front end in 90-nm CMOS technology. Your scope of work covers but not limited to:
- 60GHz transceiver system design and specs definition
- 60GHz carrier and pulse generation
- IC design and testing
Requirements:
- PhD in Engineering
- Possess 3-5 years or relevant experience in MMIC or RFIC
3. HOME 2015 - Senior Research Engineer/ Research Engineer
You will be responsible for high speed detector with good sensitivity and active phase shifters design in 90-nm CMOS technology for 60GHz UWB front end.
Requirements:
- Master/PhD in Engineering
- Possess 3-5 years of relevant experience in MMIC or RFIC experience/CMOS modeling
4. HOME 2015 - Senior Research Engineer/ Research Engineer/Research Officer
You will be responsible for research and development of UWB based Radio Frequency (RF) and analog integrated circuits and transceiver subsystems for wireless body area network, wireless sensor networking, and other low voltage low power active RFID applications etc.
Requirements:
- Bachelor/Master/PhD degree in Electrical/Electronics and/or Computer Engineering
- Knowledge in RF/Analog/mixed signal IC design in CMOS/BiCMOS
- Knowledge and/or experience in using tools such as ADS, HSPICE and/or Synopsys tools
- 2-3 years’ relevant experience preferred
- Fresh graduates with strong interest in IC design are also considered
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and also in a team environment
5. Senior Research Engineer / Research Scientist
Device Modeling For RF / Millimeter Wave IC Design
You will develop enhanced models based on existing standard compact models for advanced CMOS and Bipolar devices for applications in Radio Frequency and/or Millimeter Wave integrated circuit designs in one or more of the following areas:
- Device LF/HF noise characterization and modeling
- Compact model parameter extraction
- Extended device models development for RFIC design
- Test structures design and device characterization for their DC and RF performance
- Model verificationsMasters/PhD in a relevant Science or Engineering field with strong emphasis on analog / mixed-signal IC design
Requirements:
- PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field
- Sound understanding of semiconductor device physics and electrical characterization including RF Measurements
- Sound knowledge in microwave theories and techniques
- Experienced in test structure development for model development / extraction especially standard CMOS and BJT models
- Experience with test and measurement systems such as ICCAP, various measurement instruments and SPICE circuit simulator
6. Research Engineer / Senior Research Engineer / Research Scientist
Analog / Mixed-Signal Integrated Circuit Design
You will be responsible for IC design activities for applications in Biomedical, MEMS and other analog/mixed-signal design areas.
Requirements:
- Masters/PhD in a relevant Science or Engineering field with strong emphasis on analog / mixed-signal IC design
- Possess 3 to 5 years of design experience in analog/mixed-signal integrated circuit design
- Experience in one or more of the following areas of Analog Circuit Design: weak inversion circuits, ultra-low power circuit design techniques, circuits for interfacing with MEMS/Bio-Sensors and Bio-instrumentation.

Laboratory Officer / Research Officer
Integrated Circuits Layout & Test Support
You will be responsible for providing technical support in RF/Mixed-Signal Integrated Circuit research and development in one or more of the following areas:
- RF/Mixed-Signal Integrated Circuit Layout
- Printed Circuit Board Layout
- Prototype testing and evaluation
Requirements:
- Diploma in Engineering with emphasize in circuits and/or microelectronics
- Possess 3 years of relevant experience preferably in custom IC layout
- Knowledge of CAD tools related to IC design and layout would be an added advantage
- A good team player
