1. Research Manager

You will work closely with the Executive Director and Laboratory/Programme Directors in the Institute of Microelectronics. Your role and responsibilities will include assisting the Executive Director the following:

  • Reviewing and managing R&D programmes and projects
  • Initiating and executing cross-lab, cross-RI multidisciplinary projects
  • Overseeing the R&D efforts of the laboratories and programmes, as well as coordinating and fostering collaborative research with Universities, Industries, Research Institutes, and other research organizations, both locally and internationally

Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to adapt to an ever changing landscape of technology
  • Interested in multi-disciplinary technology R&D in the domains of Nanoelectronics, Si Photonics, Sensors and Integrated Micro-systems, Bioelectronic and Sensors
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with senior management, researchers, and Ph.D. students
  • PhD in microelectronics or equivalent discipline with at least 3 years of working experience in relevant fields
