Scientist-Biophotonics (Immunosensor)

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a point-of-care device for cancer detection
  • Responsible for the development of in-vitro immunosensor (based on antibody and aptamer) for cancer biomarker detection using silicon biophotonic device
  • Experimental design and investigation of immunoassay using biophotonics sensors
  • Plan and develop protocols for biomolecule immobilization
  • Work with the team for integration and prototype development

Requirements:

  • PhD in Chemistry/Biomedical Engineering/Chemical Engineering, or other relevant principals, fresh PhDs are encourage to apply
  • Experience in the development of label-free biosensors such as SPR, QCM, SAW
  • Experience in standard biological techniques including ELISA, protein analyses, and receptor-ligand kinetics
  • Experience in surface chemistry, bioconjugation, and protein purification
