A group of student leaders under the HCI-Asia Pacific Young Leaders Summit visited IME on 15 July 2008. The visit to IME was part of a 2 weeks programme organized by A*STAR. This group of student leaders came from Asia Pacific like Japan, India, China, Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore. They are some outstanding representatives from their home country.

During the visit, the student delegates toured IME’s research laboratories and had the opportunity to interact with the key personnel. They gained insightful experience of IME's research and development (R&D) activities and an overview of local development in microelectronics. It was a rewarding and eye-opening experience for the students.
